| The Security Engineering Research Center (SERC) was established to develop information security technology that can be used by both the military as well as high-demand clients. The SERC will build the "Information Security Technology Research Base" through joint efforts among Daejeon Metropolitan City, Kyeryongdae, and Daedeok Techno Valley in 2011. The mission of the SERC is to develop information security technology as well as transfer the technology to industries so that they can develop high-quality security products. Throughout this process the center will not only render services to the development of industries of information security, but it will also provide security experts to the industries. |
